Really liked George Clooney, but it was a sad movie too. Why are all the movies so sad lately. No comedy at all.

It was a short version made into a long version. Alot of swearing from kids.
Chick'movie,or what
screened last nite and thought it was good. Comedy, off color humor and the subject of death and adultery. It was good.
Ending leaves it open, so that a sequel could be made someday.
Excellent movie, had you laughing one minute, crying the next, George Clooney was amazing in this.

Refreshing view of “Paradise”…
I love the way the main character introduces life in “paradise”. To him and his family “it is the place we live”- interesting view of what I only know from the brochures and travel sites. Without spoiling to those who want to see it, the “moral” of the story to me is : no matter where we live-even in Paradise-no matter what we have, if we have no one to share it with: we have NOTHING. Happiness is complicated, and even surrounded by people it can get very-very lonely.
Favorite quote: give your children enough so they can do SOMETHING, but not enough to do NOTHING.
Clever and funny and sad the same time…One cannot help but think while watching the film: how would have I handled this situation. Life experience is a prerequisite to relate and understand this piece.
This was by far the best movie of the year. The cast was terrific. It had drama, lots of twists, and laughs! Thanks for the invite!
I saw this movie yesterday thanks to you guys! It had me laughing, and crying at the same time!
At first thought this movie was going to be a waste of time, but it really turned around. The bratty kids got on my nerves at first, but they end up being smart in their own way. The vegetative wife has the easiest bit part of a life time and at last someone decides not to sell out. Ended up really enjoying this movie, as ir is about love, family, forgiveness and trust....but where are some of the actual Hawaiian looking relatives?
Would love to see this Screening. I just love George...........
